Nothing Gold Can Stay

Robert Hamilton

A canto dongs nightly,
attaching God’s nylon—
a chanting godly snot
attaching dongs only,
(stodgy anal notching?)
Stagnation? Lynch God
to thy Anglican dongs.
Stagnancy doth log in:
a dang costly nothing
hit gangland’s tycoon—
(stagnant, clingy hood.)
Sit, nonchalant doggy,
dancing tangos hotly,
canoodling thy angst!
