Aphasia

Marilyn Braendeholm

I was a feral
apparition.
Blank geometry.
Me, a
scorching blizzard
haunted in my oily skin,
and I existed before
biology with its
aphasia-blackened
Sun.
And yet
I am scattered
as anger       or water.
